Back to the Grind.

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” - Colossians 3:17

Back to work, back to school, back from cottages and cabins. Back to routine. Are you ready?

As we prepare to return to the grind of life, let us remember God goes with us. We are free, alive, hopeful, and at peace because of His love expressed in the gift of His Son as our Savior. Everything we do - word and/or deed - should response to His magnificent love. We should do everything to His glory. That seems like a huge ask. But what this means is that we ever-increasingly live to make God known and prized in and through our lives. A good place to start? Gratitude. We are thankful for all God is and does, and we give Him thanks regularly. If we go throughout our days with hearts full of God’s magnificent love, then we will glorify Him. Perhaps “back to the grind “ is not the best statement. Perhaps it needs to be “keep on making God known.”
